X International Symposium on Tardigrada

The congress was attended by 72 researchers from 14 countries from four continents (Asia, Europe, North and South America). During the four days of the conference 34 talks and 31 posters were presented.

Alike the First Symposium, this jubilee conference was held in Italy. So far, this was the third time that a tardigrade meeting took place in this country, making it (along USA) the top place for the number of tardigrade Symposia. It was also probably the hottest tardigrade meeting in the history so far (one midnight, air temperature was 38° C).
